DTF (Direct-to-Film) Printing

Best for: cotton, polyester, blends, light colors, dark colors — works on almost everything.

DTF is the most versatile printing method and the one most customers choose because it works on any color and most fabrics. Your design is printed onto a film, powdered, cured, and then heat-pressed onto the shirt.

DTF Benefits:

  • Bright colors and detailed prints

  • Soft but durable feel

  • Won’t crack or peel with proper care

  • Great for custom orders, small batches, and trendy designs

It’s perfect for bold, vibrant designs—especially on black or dark shirts.

Sublimation Printing

Best for: white or light-colored polyester shirts.

Sublimation turns ink into a gas that permanently dyes the fibers of the fabric. The result is a smooth, vibrant print that feels like part of the shirt itself.

Sublimation Benefits:

  • Ultra-soft feel (nothing sits on top of the fabric)

  • Bright, long-lasting colors

  • Breathable, lightweight finish

  • Excellent for detailed or full-color designs

Important:
Sublimation only works on white or light-colored polyester.
It does not work on dark shirts because the dyes are transparent.

UV DTF (Peel-and-Stick Decals)

Best for: cups, tumblers, glassware, jars, acrylic items — not for shirts.

UV DTF is a peel-and-stick, waterproof decal used for hard surfaces. It is not the same as shirt printing, but many customers ask about it, so here’s the breakdown.

UV DTF Benefits:

  • No heat press needed

  • Waterproof and long-lasting

  • Sharp colors and strong details

  • Perfect for logos and small artwork on hard items
